Two new residential towers are being developed in Jackson Heights
There is a new project in the works in Jackson Heights, Queens. Two new residential buildings will be constructed in these addresses: 82-12 and 82-14 31st Avenue. Permits have already been filed and the project will be within walking distance of two stations: the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights Subway Station (serviced by the E, F, M and R trains) and the 82nd Street Station (serviced by the 7 Trains). The developer of these two towers is Earth and Planet Realty while the design will be in charge of Tan Architect.
Combined, the towers will span 13,500 square feet and will be 33 feet tall. There will only be six units, one per floor. The cellar will include a laundry and storage space. One of the towers will also include a garage on the first floor. Overall, each unit will span 2,250 square feet, which suggests the units will be condos.
Nowadays, the lots are taken up by a shed and a two-story structure. These will be demolished and the proper permits were filed this year. Nevertheless, the completion date has not been revealed. [NY Yimby]
