Revised Plans and New Rendering revealed for Elmhurt residential development.
Plans were revealed and permits were filled for 88-08 Justice Avenue, Elmhurt Queens.
These permits were filled earlier in 2015 however, recently revealed renderings provide an outlook to the final project.
Plans have been slightly altered from the original permit fillings. New permits reveal a 18 story building to include 183 condos not 197 units as originally planned.
The mix use development will include commercial space on the first four floors which would be very desirable to the already busy neighborhood in close proximity to Queens Plaza Center Mall and Rego Park Center. It is said that the first four floors will hold a preschool and daycare facility. It is assumed that these facilities will be open to outsiders of the residence building.
Apartments will start on the 5th floor, each unit will be approximately 800 square feet with 13-14 units on each floor. Luckily this residents will include 204 car garage located underground, and 44 parking spaces on the first floor. Residents can enjoy an in house laundry facility and terrace on the 5th floor.
Elmhurst is a desired neighborhood for renters and buyers however developments have not taken place as quickly as expected. A mix of commercial dwellings, new market rate developments, and tree line residential streets make Elmhurst desirable to a variety of residents looking for options in the area.
This development will be anticipated and provide a more affordable units that neighboring boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Jon K Yung of MY Architect PC has designs the project, the developer is listed as United Construction and Develoment Group. Both
