New hotel to start development in Jamaica, Queens
After all the permits for hotels that have been filed in the city recently, it is no surprise that a new one has come up, reports have stated. A new development is about to begin (if all paperwork is in order) in Jamaica, Queens. The hotel will have 114 rooms and will be addressed at 97-11 Suthpin Boulevard in the aforementioned Queens neighborhoods.
According to the sources, the architect in charge is Cheng Yang- Leee of Atelier CS. The tower will have nine stories and will feature 36,375 square feet destined to commercial use. The rooms will average 320 square feet each. The developer that is listed is Charanjit Singh, of AIH Group LLC. Regarding existing structures, permits to demolish a one story building on the lot were filed back in March. [NY Yimby]
