NEW DEVELOPMENT: 27-01 Jackson Avenue
The team at the NY Lions Group have filed permits for another project in Long Island City. Queens Beans reported on Albert and Ramin Shirian’s project in Astoria at 14-01 Broadway back in November and just last month they filed permits for a 72,328 square for mixed unit building, 7,090 square feet of which are to be designated as commercial or retail use. The proposed 88-unit building is to rise at 160 feet for 15 stories. Currently the site is a GasTrac Gas station (photo courtesy of Google Maps) and near the very actives Purves street where Queens Beans recently updated on the construction at 44-35 Purves Street.
Permits have also been filed on Purves street for a demolition , see the next article for updates on that.
Raymond Chan is the architect on record according to the permit of the 27-01 Jackson Avenue project once demolition of the Gas Station begins.
Queens Beans will bring videos and photos on the demolition and construction at 27-01 Jackson Avenue, stay tuned for the details.
