The Hakimian Organization strikes new deal in Long Island City with Barre3 at 44-16 23rd Street – LIC

A new studio to open in Queens

JRT Realty group, the largest commercial real estate service firm owned by women of the country, has made a new deal in the city. This company arranged a 10 year lease over a 2,000 square feet studio for Barre3, a fitness studio. JRT intervened on behalf of The Hakimian Organization and Gorjian NY. The studio is based at 44-16 23rd Street in LIC, in Queens. Aaron Fishbein, of Winick Real Estate, represented the tenant.

“With Long Island City rapidly developing, this is a strategic move for Barre3,” said Greg Smith of JRT Realty Group. “Based on current construction, the area expects more than 22,000 residential units and 35 hotels in the coming years. This property presents a unique opportunity for creative companies to establish their roots in a profitable location at an affordable price.”

Barre3 will set up in the ground floor, occupying part of it. The whole building has two floor that measure 10,000 square feet each. Furthermore, the site has high ceilings and plenty of natural light and the opportunity to build extra room.

Once they move in, this will be the second location of Barre3 in the city of New York. The first studio is on the West Village. In addition, Barre3 has several locations all across the United States as well in Canada and the Philippines.
