Another building in Ridgewood, Queens, has been leased. New reports have surfaced that establish that the Gotham Plumbing Supply has entered a five-year deal that will make them the tenants of a 34,700 square feet lot. In this site, there is a mixed-use building that includes office and warehouse space. The address? 18-19 Flushing Avenue, as we mentioned earlier, in Ridgewood.

As per the Commercial Observer, the current construction on site has 30 foot ceilings, and even though the original construction is rather old, it was recently updated. Nowadays, it features new lighting fixtures and brand-new concrete floors. According to plan, Gotham Plumbing will set up its showroom there as well as its offices. Both will span up to 4,000 square feet of the total. The remaining space (30,000 sf) will be taken over by the warehouse and other storage spaces.

As of right now, Ridgewood is a very attractive location for commercial warehouses and businesses, since tenants are starting to leave others areas, such as Sunset Park and Long Island City, behind. In this case, the rent price is about $20 per square foot.

As far as other Ridgewood plans go, the famous condo developer known as Brookland Capital made its plans public back in January. This company will build two buildings with five stories each, their first venture in Queens.  Furthermore, the federal government has made clear its intentions of cleaning up the Superfund site, also located in this neighborhood. They wish to demolish several buildings lining up the intersection of Cooper and Irving Avenues. As we can see, Ridgewood is another Queens neighborhood experiencing lots of growth. [Commercial Observer]
