Within the past few weeks, construction has topped out on the eight-story, 16-unit mixed-use building under development at 21-10 44th Drive, located in Long Island City’s Court Square section. Progress on the project can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the structure encompasses 22,328 square feet and rises 80 feet to its roof.

The project, called The Decker, features 16 condominiums ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts. The apartments should average 1,018 square feet apiece. There will also be 2,710 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Brooklyn-based firms Kora Developers and BK Developers Inc. are behind the project, while Zproekt Architecture is responsible for the design. Completion can likely be expected later this year.
