Developer files plans for 9-story building near Queens Plaza
A developer filed plans to build yet another mixed use retail and residential building in Long Island City yesterday.
The new building, which will go up at 41-14 27th Street across from the Jet Blue corporate offices, will be nine stories tall and contain 30 residential departments, according to the building application filed by developer Kenny Liu of LIC Manor Realty.
The building will be 90 feet tall, with office space in the basement, 2,080 square feet of retail space on the first floor, and 22,710 square feet of residential space on the upper eight floors.
There will also be an outdoor deck for tenants of the building on the ninth floor.
The developer bought the site, which is located less than a block from the Queensboro Plaza subway station, for $6.5 million in September.
